Roma captain Lorenzo Pellegrini has apologized to fans after their 6-1 defeat by Bodo Glimt in the Europa Conference League.
Jose Mourinho’s Roma suffered another worst day in club history after being thrashed 6-1 by Norwegian side Bodo Glimt in the Europa Conference League on Thursday past

“I probably can’t say much. All I can say is sorry and we will come back stronger than ever. We talked about what we wanted in the dressing room and it still exists,” Pellegrini said.

“We have to make sure we learn from this humiliation and maintain this attitude for the rest of the season.”
Roma fielded a shadow team for the humiliation.
“There’s little I can say, I can only apologise and get back on track stronger than before. We said what we needed to in the locker room and it remains there,” Pellegrini told Sky Italia.
“Sometimes you need a slap to learn and we got a slap in the face today, one we fully deserved. We’ve got to make sure that we learn from this embarrassment and keep that attitude for the rest of the season.”
Pellegrini added: “I am angry. I am not worried, not disappointed, just angry. From tomorrow we have to work even harder, because there are games to be won.”
