Watford forward Joshua King insists he is convinced the team will need a point in their 5-2 thrashing of Everton, despite being down 2-1 in the middle of the second half.
The former Everton spearhead said: “It’s fair we did in the first half. And it was a 1-1 draw, we felt that at least we could still draw. Even when Richarlison scored to put Everton in the lead, I felt we could get something out of this game. When we score a goal from a header The belief in the team has increased.”
“For the Vanguard it is confidence I had a very bad season last season. no matter which front When you start scoring goals you gain confidence.”

“We want to win today. This is a great team. This is a sports team And sometimes I can’t score. sometimes it can Either way I can shoot or assist. I’m happy.”
“You have to bury the Liverpool game in the ground, they’re hot right now. And probably the best team in the league like Man City, this game is very important to our confidence.”
“The manager has just arrived. This is his second game. And it’s a good performance for the team.”
King’s first had come 13 minutes in to cancel out an early Tom Davies strike.
It was a stunning finish to the match, all the more so given Ranieri’s men were humbled 5-0 by Liverpool just a week ago in the Italian’s first game in charge.
But while they celebrated what they will hope is the start of a turnaround to their fortunes, Ranieri’s old friend Benitez was left to ponder a second consecutive home defeat and their ninth of 2021 – one shy of the club’s record in a calendar year.
The early signs had been good for the hosts.
